Cabalgata=Cavalcade

There was a horse get-together today, or maybe better to say a cowboy get-together on horseback. They met up at 8am, rode a few miles before stopping for breakfast and cervezas, and then rode on some more. They should be done before nightfall.

The horses were all pretty well mannered as they paraded by us. One friend refilled her soft-sided cooler with fresh beer that we handed over.

Could be some of Bella's relatives.

Cervezas for breakfast! Now that's what I call a ride.

Oh yes. Tequila was being passed around too. That's what makes a good Cabalgata.

How many horses on that ride? I've been on large rides and sometimes the horses get rowdy from the sheer numbers. It can be quite an experience. Don't think I'd want to do that and drink. LOL

They look like they were checking you out:-) Ladies allowed on the ride?

There were ladies on the ride. Mostly cowboys, but some girls as well. There were probably 75 horses, but I had heard there would be about 300. I was invited to join in but, even with a "seasoned" horse, I don't enjoy that type of large group.

this looks like a blast, I've never been on a large group ride and on such open ground.
